Starting work on Beta v1.1.0 !


๐Ÿ‘‹ Now that the game has been submitted to the game jam, I can start working on some pretty basic stuff over the next couple of weeks! 
I will implement player feedback, fixes, and any other small patch work into the current release, but I will also start working on the following:

Version Overview:

  • Version: 1.1.0
  • Focus: Score Boarding, Power-ups and Levelling, Enemy Health, Enemy Variations

Score Boarding:

Goals:

  • Allow players to use a unique username for score tracking.
  • Create a leader board to showcase top player scores.
  • Introduce a "View Leaderboard" button in pre and post-game screens.

    Power-ups and Leveling:

    Goals:

    • Add additional power-ups upon enemy defeat.
    • Implement new player perks upon leveling up.
    • Introduce new bosses and enemy types as players level up.

    Enemy Health:

    Goals:

    • Implement a health system for enemies.
    • Introduce visual indicators such as circular health patterns.
    • Add death animations for enemies upon defeat.

    Enemy Variations:

    Goals:

    • Introduce different types of enemies with unique behaviors.
    • Enhance the variety of enemy sprites, movement patterns, and shooting behaviors.
